Thanks Troy.......we have been so warm this Fall the fish are confused..........a large group of bluegill pushed into a shallow oxbow that is rarely used this late in the year.......but instincts told me to try and what a wonderful surprise.....I caught a few gills in early October a few years back in this same area but most years a Fall bluegill is rare..........but this proves you trust your instincts.........my coangler bought lunch over a friendly wager.......he bet me we wouldn't get a bite at Spice Island......he's already asking to go back on Veteran's Day.....LOL.....
