Yea they are cool. John I think they are mostly found in coastal plain streams and swamps. They don't get too big. NC and GA record are under 1lb. SC doesn't even keep a record. I've caught them on spinner baits, panfish jigs, worms and crickets. Almost always tight to cover.

Nice panfish Jonathan looks like you caught a few species that just adds to the excitement for sure.
