Thanks Allen........As good as it has been in recent years the Crappie fishing has been as good as I have ever seen on the Albemarle in 2014......I have averaged 2,800 crappie the last three years and I have already caught 2.373 this season so I may reach ~4000 this year.........As for Bluegill,  I have caught 1,014 coppernose this year and 561 of these are 10" or larger. I'm on track to catch between 4,500 to 5,000 as the Summer peak lies ahead......My family fishing vacation begins 6/13 to align with the full moon so things will pick up even more as I visit locations I haven't yet fished this season......

Man, that's a nice fish!

700 fish in the past couple of weeks?!?!?!?!  How many have you caught so far this year, Jeff?

In summary.....it's very easy.......these jigs are awesome and everything in the Albemarle will hit them as we have combined for a dozen species in just the last two weeks alone........
