nice John!.... i was reading that Y.Perch spawn in the dark and at first light... i dont recall ever tagging one in the dark

No idea when the fish kill happened maybe 2 years ago but as a rule the biggest fish die off 1st and this perch looked to be a decent size so maybe the fish kill wasn't as bad as you thought.
