Here's a nice picture of Waccamaw Mark.....I have only fished it once since 2000......I had my boat in tow on the way to Santee Cooper in South Carolina....

I've fished Sapony Creek near Sharpsburg, N.C. just south of Rocky Mount......I was fortunate growing up in Louisiana I could hunt and kill an eight squirrel limit of all black and red Fox Squirrels....Great memories...I don't hunt anymore but that would help with the winter doldrums! I hope we can maintain public access to water better than land...you've just about got to be a member of a hunting club to go anymore......

Lake Waccamaw is beautiful....I have caught bluegill there but not since 2007.....If I go that far I usually push on to the Santee Cooper lakes in South Carolina! I live less than an hour from the Outer Banks and I only go in the Winter.....it's getting more and more chaotic every Summer down there.....tourism is doing great......I like to tent camp on the ocean at least one weekend a year so I hit one of the Camp Grounds and get a fix! Sometimes the Blue Crabbing Rodeo on Pea Island in June......
