Well maybe today is a sign but really to early to tell. My pond would be froze over and the next day with the wind and warmer air would be thawed.
Tony I just would like to have some Ice to be able to ice fish. Remember that stuff we didn't have enough of last year.
YA KNOW JEFFREY THOSE ARE NICE CRAPPIES AND GOOD EATERS: SIDE NOTE HERE: CAN'T WAIT TO FISH with you next spring because there is so much I can learn from the Master !
THE FISH CAN STAND BY IN MAY 2013 for when we get together!!!!!!!
Couldn't help myself J.D. You're right about the temps, it seems to be colder than average for this time of year.
I knew you would go there Tony....no frost yet but a damp morning in the 50s is still a little colder than average for early October....... so I broke out the sweatshirt and wind breaker......I still enjoyed it.....the time change early next month is a killer for me, only ten hours of daylight, most of that at work or commuting!
It warms my heart to see Jeffrey in a jacket........!
Ice? Dick what was that about ice?
Nice mess of fish. I was chipen ice this morning and yea it's getting cold out side.
Our weather was chilly early with overcast but by noon it was replaced with wind driven rains.....glad we went early!
I have some nice Crappie recipes also!
