Jeffrey, that's interesting. If it blows out of the east in New Bern, it pushes the water in there. If it blows out of the west, it drains it like someone pulls a plug on the tub.

Thanks Jack...........water temps in this area were near 59 degrees just this past Thursday........saw nearly a five degree drop in just a few days............our fishing gets tough when the water dumps out as well.........we may be down nearly 2.5 feet by the end of the week with this latest Noreaster winding up off the coast right now.........
