Thanks Jack.......years of work on the same water helps alot as you probably know.........I normally let the crappie rest some in May but it was a hot bite which is a lot of fun........the gills pulled out a little with the big temperature swings but I bet the gill bite would have been much better this afternoon with all the sun warmed shallows.........

Thanks Carl........we had a hot crappie bite on shallow cover so we took it today.............I have to fry fish next week at a friendly crawfish boil so this day helped me out.........
