Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

An Amazing Morning.....Nearly 100 total fish in Less Than Three Hours....

If you fish enough......days like this can even happen in the winter.....follow your instincts and give it a whirl......very few of the 50 Crappie were under 12"......just an amazing creel......kept a nice mess and released some really fine fish for another day.......

Hey Nathanael you use to live in my old stomping grounds. Been Many a crappie took from Lake Norman and it's surrounding areas. When I move there after the service I had an older gentleman who took me under his wing and introduced me to Lake Norman and crappies. Another elderly gentleman who introduce me to Hickory Lake and we frequented South Carolina'[s waters. I left back to Ohio for job reasons but have great memories of them days. People are great but got to admit they eat to well and know how to eat. Good luck on your ventures and above all cherish the moments.

I used to live in Mooresville and Statesville. I still have a lot of friends and connections out there and keep it on my radar for an Aprilish visit.  I know that's still many hrs West of where you are but when coming from Minnesota that's not that far a trip to experience some great NC fishing..... It won't be this April tho which is to bad because we are having the winter of a lifetime and our family could use the break....

Hard not to be jelous.... I've been pining for a while to get back to NC and visit. It's great to see your success but it isn't helping my patience with the inability to get away...With that said, the more you post the more I'de like to take a day and sneak out a fishing trip with you when I am able to come down....:)
