Big "Ink" Crappie Today.....4/4/2017
A dozen of today's 43 crappie were big males 13" and over like this one........what a blast.......

Thanks guys.........John the gills are scattered but staging on the Tidal Rivers.......a different pattern could yield some nice gills but not in numbers yet........The April Full Moon + two weeks is peak for the crappie spawn in our region......yesterday validated that with the largest males and gravid sows caught together...........Yellow Perch Spawn is over and fish are scattered now..........Largemouth are on the bank...............water temps yesterday were 64 to 68 degrees with 66 being peak in my opinion for the tidal crappie.........
