Kelly - a speckle is a Crappie! Also, a Flier is not a hybrid. It is a Sunfish species just like it's cousins - Bluegill, Redear, Crappie (Speckle), Rock Bass, Red Breast Sunfish, Warmouth, Longear Sunfish, Spotted Sunfish, Green Sunfish (Greenie), Pumpkinseed, Smallmouth Bass, Largemouth Bass, Spotted Bass!

Thanks Dick,,,,,I wish the range for fliers was a little bigger so more anglers could catch them.......they can provide a lot of entertainment.........will bite during periods of hypoxia when no other sunfish will.........Thanks Ben and Slip..........That's what it looks like Kelly and often you have to take a second look on the larger ones which really start favoring a speckle.....
