i have a 6' 2wt TFO and a little Dennison fly reel love that little gem .... enjoy your new outfit snakebite
TFO makes some very good rods! I have an 8' 2wt and a 7'6" 3wt.
Amen to that Jim. Glad I managed to salvage a few off from Tooty before he does the horizontal mambo.
those are good rods.best value for the money in a graphite fly rod i have the tfo 6'6 3wt.got it as the combo.was a geat deal and a petty slow rod for graphite.by slow i mean good, loads better and roll casts great.have caught 100s of blegills on it.i just got a 1970 fenwick ff706.7ft 6wt.mostly for bass and carp but one of the best all around flyrods ever built/the slower pace of glass flyrods suits my aching wrist and shoulder theses days.these old glass rods almost cast themselves
Volunteer coaching little league baseball got me tied down 5 to 6 days a week until August. It's like a madhouse since the moment my eyes are opened, to the moment they are shut..whenever that is.
Nothing is wrong in turning any room into a fly shop. Of course, someone is always standing in your way with a flamethrower and a garbage can at the ready to make your day.
AAAHHHH !!! THE MOST WONDERFUL; MASTER ; OF THE ELECTRONIC KEYBOARD ! MY GOOD FRIEND-- LEOOOOOO!!!! WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO COME BACK AND GIVE US YOUR UNDIVIDED ATTENTION ?? WHATS WRONG WITH TURNING YOUR ROOM INTO A FLY SHOP ??? I DID!!! LOL AND AS FOR LIVING ; IN A BACK WOODS CABIN;; NUTTIN FINNER !
Nice nice combo. Looks like that nail knot tool I've started ages past is making into the toolboxes. Perfect budgeted setup. Don't talk to Carl too much, or else he'll convince you to turn your room into a fly tackle shop, and you'll be ending up living in a wood cabin somewhere.
...Nice looking setup!!!
…here’s a great knot i always use ... no-nail tool or hardware required
