New North Carolina State Record Redbreast...... Alphonso Jackson

Mr. Jackson of Maxton, N.C. was fishing with his three kids last month on the Lumber River near Wagram, North Carolina when he caught the new State Record Redbreast Sunfish. He was fishing with live crickets when he landed the 2 Pound 1 Ounce sunfish that breaks a 36 year old mark.....The fish is now being reviewed for a World Record for this species.........Congrats to a lifetime angler who thanked his daddy for teaching him how to fish as a kid ...........
