Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

These are Scent Wiggl'rs from the Bobby Garland line of soft plastics....I cut two of the three body segments off which drops these baits down to 1.5" and the hook is set up perfect to tip with crickets or grass shrimp....Twilight and Electric Chicken are my favorites in the MO GLO series.....

Never seen these for sale around here. I cut grubs down too. I like the Slider grubs, and do it to mount them on jig heads for Beetle Spins.

Those look real good,Jeffrey. I bet they have a good action with the thin tails that would not interfere with tipping them. Tipping them with a minnow should make it deadly combination for crappies and yellow perch as well.

These are the Bobby Garland Scent Wiggl'rs I talked about Jason....These are relatively new as so many companies are striving for a break through bait these days....That's why I call it the Dirty Dozen rather than a particular favorite....I tip these with crickets, worms or grass shrimp for killer Gill action in my region....

Thanks guys.....I truly recommend these jigs if you feel like trying a soft plastic....They come in about 12 colors but these rock in my area so I stick with them......I was having trouble tipping them so I decided to cut them down and although you lose durability this way I'm not opposed to going through a bag of tails to catch some nice fish....
