These fish were coming out very dark and with some stress in the live well they changed over to these distinct band markings.....

Some great May fish out of Bagley's Swamp Tooty.....got to contend with a few cottonmouths there though....LOL

Many fish have the banding and it's more apparent under stress but these fish coming out of this area always show off their stripes a little more for some reason.....Thanks Dick!

My dad can't wait to get back in Bagley's Swamp with his favorite popping bug......Big gills like this on a flyrod is one of the main reasons he still makes the 1100 mile track from Louisiana to come fish with me in North Carolina........can't wait for the fun to begin!
