Thanks guys.......you're kind Jim and this month has fished more like October in most years since our water temps are still right at 60 degrees in most locations. Crappie are the least impacted by this fall pattern of front after front and the ups and downs that come with it.........crappie will often bite if you're able to locate the schools of fish........yesterday they were attached near bottom in six to eight feet close to the deepest holes in the creeks.........In my opinion our crappie were a little on edge with the presence of early migrating Striped bass......We managed to get the net on a 16" class Striper and had several other large takes in which we lost the fish but all that activity had the panfish weary.....
