I didn't catch it, (that's not me, my tats are better than his..LOL) This giant Redear was caught at California's newest lake, Diamond Valley, near Hemet in southern Ca. He was fishing for Striped Bass with a swimbait and when he caught it, and he thought it was a Bluegill! I think it might be a lake record RE. Awesome sunfish! There are some really large Bluegill and Redears in this lake and I plan on hitting it hard next spring/summer. If only they would allow float tubing.

My question is...does this man know how incredibly blessed he is, and how jealous we all are? That fish is astounding!! Congrats to the angler!!!
