Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

The fluffy tail on the crappie thunder jig flutters down to the desired depth.....add a live minnow or grass shrimp and they can't resist it.......good color for tanic water.......these are rigged on 1/32 ounce and fished at 12 to 18 inches under the quill in two to three feet of water......

No these are all Strike King soft plastics......two on the left are called "crappie Thunder".........the one with the pink tail is a "shadpole" and finally a traditional 2" curly tailed jig.........

Hey Richard the three jigs on the left are the "Electric Chicken" color.......any combination of pink and chartreuse basically......I often add a little minnow or a grass shrimp for best results......

You never know what they want on a certain day but you have to have some favorites to start with......How's it going Jacob?......know it's a busy time for you and hope you have some good trips this year!

electric chicken?the first time i saw this color combo i laughed.i bought some as kind of a joke.i killed the crappie on em as the lake on our annual trip was real muddy.they ended up being the best color.since i fish a lot of clear water i usually favor muted natural colors.gotta keep an open mind
