Inbound Nasty Weather......Little River , North Carolina ....5/1/2017

Had visions of getting back out this afternoon after work,,,,my friend sent me a few pictures of the river so we decided to pass on this day......three footers breaking on the eastern shore of the Little River .......

 Yes Slip......I keep logs on 73 locations from a total of 23 launches around the Albemarle......this one is just a couple miles from home and best for late afternoon trips with just a couple hours available on days after work.......when you have to transit the big water sometimes you can get exposed.......

my home lake looks similar to this when the winds kick up from the north or south...when this happens do you ever head over to a smaller BOW offering wind protection or cover?

YEP; JEFFERY;; THIS IS WHAT MY AREA LAKE;; OLD HICKORY LAKE;; LOOKED LIKE TODAY !  STEADY WINDS AT OVER 30 MPH;; GUST OVER 40 !!
