Do you love big bluegill?
This is the latest I've ever fished for bluegill and it took me a while to figure two of them out. It was about 35 degrees with a 7 to 10 mph wind. I wasn't prepared to fish this way but made do with what I had. If you can catch them in November on the drop-shot it should be killer the rest of the year.

Nice Gill Keith!
Nice Keith!... it is my number one method... i usually quit gill fishing in september but have now fished all the way to ice-on. once the water temp for me got into the upper 40s and below the gill moved into the sparse weedy flats and shallow and the float was the only way to get them. i was expecting them to move deep into their wintering haunts but that didnt happen. i believe they still feed on the flats till the oxygen level drops and forced to move. now ive read two different schools of thought.
is GULP a big producer for you? have you tried any other products and colors like the minnow or fry? what colors havce produced for you? pink was my hot color... have you tried pink?
