Thanks Jim !Best Pick this year so far.It was a powerhouse! I saw a vague dark shape under my spoon as it was coming back to the boat so i stopped the retreive and lowered my rod and dropped the spoon .Sure enough the line jumped and bang the fight was on .Hooked him close to the boat but he took some time gettin' in as he was peeling some line and making the drag work .

Hey Tooty -it's a Chain Pickerel .The black line across the Eye isn't dark on this Fish but it's there .Brother Greg  and I often fish a State Park  lake nearby that produces 24 -27" Pickerel .We are trying to see if we can find a 30 incher if it exists . Dig that classic Dardevle Tooty !!
