Be proud Dick.....I fished all three colors equal time this morning under a float.......olive out fished the others but I did fish it at first light which may have made a difference......caught gills up to 10.5 inches and over a pound.......I caught some gills without tipping but a live cricket tip was most productive....baits are very durable and I really like the flash colors in the water.....pictures coming up!

I think any wax will do but I have WAPSI dubbing wax.

I like it Dick. I have some stuff that might make leggies, that craft fur I posted a few weeks back.

But I need to learn dubbing, anyway. What wax do you use?

Comment by dick tabbert on July 26, 2013 at 9:10pm

David do what you want that's how you learn is to experiment and I've changed things up to get the shrimp to look like it does now. I wanted a grass shrimp that looked like a grass shrimp and I feel like I'm close. I guess if we put uv or some kind of clear coat on the top side it would look more real but this is what I come up with so far.
