Thank you Jeff ..you know I've been lucky as heck lately catching so many different species of fish down here and I think may have a good clue why ..I started catching these fish right after the last Hurricane came through, it dumped 15 inches of water and the winds really churned up the water ..must have did something to their natural feeding grounds .. Hope it never ends ......

Each water is unique, so, I can only speak based on observation. Jeffrey can chime in, since he's the master of the warmouth hunting. Here's an image of Ohio State Dept's photo of a pure strain:

Here's are GSF and warmouth hybrid:

Yours is a bit unique. It has a solid vertical striation of the bluegill, eyes of longear, and belly of a redbreast. All could be just my imagination or lack of collective info on the warmouth throughout the states. It got me scratching my head.

Vince ..they r great fighters ..I didn't know what I had on until it came to the surface... I'd like to target just Warmouth, but down here in south Florida with all the different speices of panfish one Never knows what they'll catch ... It's a crap shoot ....

Good fighting fish too! I like their aggressiveness towards the bait, and their fight after they are hooked. Thanks for the pic, Paul.
