Lucky that beast didn't break your rod, I bet it took you into backing before you got it under control ;-)

Dick, good one. By the way, have you guys noticed, but the tree on the top right was mooning you guys? LOL!

Greg you can pose all you want but I don't think it's in the cards. I think the fish should at least have his eyes open.

Haha.  My flyline wouldn't have standed a chance had that slab wrapped me up.  That's a piece of cypress I pulled out of the sand 'cause it looked neat.

Is that a tree/log I see in the photo? I suppose that brute Gill' wrapped you up on it, requiring that it  be winched into the boat also? Man those gills' are strong for their size.............

WOW! Look at the size of that monster! Its weight shifted your boat to one side. Must be 1/1000lb.

I think you may have me beat on that one Jim. I always thought that I catch the smallest it's nice to see someone taking that monkey off my back. You must have an awful small hook to be able to catch a monster like that. GOOD FISHIN....

I think the fly was a black ant pattern.  I buy them with the sole purpose of being able to catch tiny fish.
