Caught them 5-18-2012. The water level on Kentucky Lake was very low this year. These fish were in about 2 feet of water. Once we found some emerging brush in shallow water we could pull a couple off the beds.

Very nice catch Alan. The twin lakes area has produced some great fish in the last few years. Here's to hoping that it stays that way!

What's the big redear there, about 12inches or so? Big boy for sure.

Some nice bluegill in there too!  Kentucky Lake is only a couple hours from me - may have to make a drive down there sometime soon.  I haven't fished it in twenty years - it didn't have the shellcracker/bluegill fishery it does now the last time I was there.

Kentucky Lake is one of the premier public venues for high numbers of quality-sized 'crackers...great catch!
