I agree going by the picture but if you were there you would have seen that it was a pure warmouth. They don't hybridize in this stretch because there no bluegill there.

haha jim yes indeed my dad has hair down to his shoulders! yeah tony by the picture i agree. it was in fact a warmouth 100% it was just the way i was holding it.  this fish was good in a little urban creek by the way.

That fish looks an awful lot like a Hybrid Bluegill to me......

Hmm really. In what way are they easier than crappie (or bluegill for that matter) to filet? (Didn't think it was possible.)
