This retired North Carolina lighthouse was moved from its in service location at the mouth of the Roanoke River across the sound from Edenton….it was restored and opened in 1887 ….now its symbolic of Edenton Harbor Landing..l

Thanks Troy and Bruce…….the great thing here is this little town is the second oldest in North Carolina founded in 1712…..there is history relics all over……my wife Helen and I love to visit for a great dinner nearby and walk out less than a block to take in the view…..there is actually a high speed water taxi that we could catch in Elizabeth City and ride over for dinner……small town USA….but we loved it…..
