Do you love big bluegill?
60 degrees at daylight and was above 80 when we called it after lunch.....fish were staged to come shallow outside of wood and on points......

Yep.....most significant marking and the reason they are called Coppernose.......a vibrant band of copper in the forehead..........gets very pronounced during the spawn.....I'll post a brilliant copper.....
aha...I take it they get bigger. What are the identifying characteristics?

what does it mean when everyone refers to a coppernose bg...is it actually a subspecies?
Nice coppernose Jeffrey. We don't have them up north here but looking at the tail looks like it could be a little more challenging than a gill.
