8" to 10" are some GREAT Gills any time of the year, IMHO.

Very nice! Sounds like you had a great day out there. looks like 50s/30s for my weekend near the coast, but starting to warm to near normal temps next week. I keep hoping we are done with cold.

Agree, Jeffrey...no sense sizing down when bigger is better!
I hope to get into bigger fish soon...maybe tomorrow late PM. Water is still 38 degrees. Best fish so far have been 8-inchers.
