Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

Like the effect of letting the stretch cord twist up on its self for an extended body, Should pass for a damsel fly nymph.

Hi Guys!  New to this site and Love all that I am seeing.  I really like this look of this tie.  I'm an amateur (at best) at tying.   Would love some instructions for tying this.  I think this would kill some nice gills in clear water near me.  Tight Lines and Screamin Drags to Ya!!!!

It's a winner for sure Rex!

Jen,  Materials are Stretch Magic in gold flake color, tan Unithread, tan UV ice dubbing, black rabbit dubbing, brass color bead chain on a size 8 eagle claw hook.  Lay down thread base, tie in cord and twist.  You can make length of tail to your liking by placing bodkin where you want it to stop, then allow it to twist up on its self.  Tie off at hook bend and spiral wrap the remaining cord to make segmented body.  Tie in eyes , add dubbing, whip finish and brush out dubbing.
