Gills in the Coldest Temps of The Season......1/18/2016
Wind chills in the teens all morning on the coastal marsh but I hugged another basin and it was holding an abundance of gills and crappie.......

Thanks Dick........we're getting our coldest weather of the season this week so the basins should continue to hold the fish for some time to come..........now if I can get a break from the winds I will visit some of my favorite spots.......many cannot be reached in bad winter weather........wave heights were a little over four feet south of the Coast Guard station yesterday after lunch............big rollers breaking in shallow water making it tough and dangerous on boaters.............I'm a little more conservative during the winter for obvious reasons........
