Frank here is a way to calculate your basses weight which will be close.
Example: Girth of fish 12 inches. Length of fish 30 inches; 12 times 12 = 144; multiply by 30 equals 4320; divided by 800 equals 5.4 pounds.
WANTED TO GET A WEIGHT, BUT MY FRIEND? COULDN'T FIND HIS SCALE. THOUGHT WE WERE GO FISHING THE NEXT DAY. HE SURE ENJOYED HIS DINNER. MY OTHER FRIEND SAID HE NOT ONLY WOULD HAVE WEIGHTED IT. HE WOULD HAVE MADE A MOUNT OF IT. 20" LONG 6" TALL. PROBABLY A LITTLE SHY OF 5 LBS. PRETTY GOOD IN MICHIGAN. IT MUST BE REALLY SOMETHING TO CATCH A 20 LB. FISH. SEEN 1 AT LEAST AS BIG JUMP THE NEXT DAY.
Nice Largemouth
