Do you love big bluegill?

Couple of limits I kept while fishing the Roanoke River. These fish were caught near the lily pad beds in a very popular creek up there.

Get em' Jack! This cold snap has dropped our surface temps 10 plus degrees and dumped the creeks and rives.....I've kept detailed records and it's only happened this late on two other years since 1995.....I was in 80 degree water last Thursday that was barely 65 just yesterday......we need a warm up to kick start the bluegill bite on the Albemarle........
