Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

Tie in saddle hackle between flashabou and eyes and wrap 4 to 5 turns. Tie off and pull hackle and flashabou back and wrap with the thread, forming as collar. Finish knot just behind the eye of hook.
Color combinations are endless, so pick your favorite CRAPPIE colors, and go try in your favorite fishin hole.

Wow! Chartreuse is definately a hot crappie color in my waters. I'm gonna tie some critters that look like sisters to this one! Thanks!

This one looks like a definate keeper. Do you have any problem with the tail getting hit and not catching the fish? It also looks like you could add weight very easily.
Great fly, If it's all right with you I'll add this one to my box in a variety of colors.
thanks.
