Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

Caught Crappie on five different baits and the water temperatures have fallen to 70 degrees and the water was very low from the Full Moon tidal effects....

Amen to that Leo.......I drove 45 minutes to get to this spot yesterday but that's 15 minutes less than I drive to get to work.......Win/Win

Beautiful color on that crappie. You are having way too much fun there Jeffrey. I'll trade the beach for the waters to fish any day.

YUP I KNOW EXACTLY WHAT YOUR'E TALKING ABOUT JEFFREY !!!!!!!!! It is hard to change when something is working !

Yes.....I have one of them but it's wrecked after today.....caught some big gills on it also...As I stated......other things may have worked but once you're on the fish it's difficult to change when you want to keep a bait on them.......

Yup just as I figured !!! JIms baits look super sturdy too and simple!!!!!!!!! I've been using olive on the regular beads with legs Jeffrey and great success down in Southern Illinois , but up north here that is a strictly EARLYYYYYYYY SPRING AND EARLY SUMMER COLOR and don't even tie em on after July first. May have to start trying em this time of the year up here.

I caught nice Crappie today on yours and Jim's.......this particular fish was caught on Jim's Olive pattern......I added a lot of pictures today and you'll see the Stingers in many of them...I was adding a minnow and caught some great Crappie on the Chartreuse head and pink body in the newest batch......
