Nine Inch line burner took my crappie jig so I began to hunt for more Gills after that…,,it was the right move on this day..,,

Thanks Bruce…..I quickly realized that the gills were aggressive in our falling water temps so I rode out that bite the rest of the way…..the fish had already pushed out deeper with the recent storms that dump our local rivers…..although the water had returned to normal pool the fish remained out on the first drop and creek channels…..I would work the jig to the drop off and the gills would take it on the initial fall to six feet….a lot of fun when you consider we are almost half way through November…….
