It's chilly in the Mid-Atlantic...upper twenties and low thirties recently. Water temps at Lake Marburg are either side of 50. Still catching big carp in the cold...my largest last week...

That Perch hit a 1/8 th oz Black /yellow Bucktail Jig tipped with a Full crawler .I casted up on a 5' flat dropping off to 10-12' and drifted.

Nice yellow perch - looks like a sandwich to me. The way we do in when fishing the big lake (Lake Erie) I would always bait up and start drifting. When a bite occurred I would drop the anchor and start fishing just off the bottom. Yellow perch school so you may catch your limit there or lift the anchor and drift for another school. The go to bait was minnows, shinners if we could find them. It was always a good time.

My thermometer has been broken since spring Jeffrey. Really should get another . The air temp is lower  in the morning than the water causing lots of mist over the water till 9 am or so .
