Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

Wanted to made a jig out of Tooties silent stinger but it's on a jig so I think most of the silent is out of it.

I don't have any darter heads or I'd make you a few to try let me check on the heads next time I get to Janns Netcraft.

Yea David I don't think there is a name for it but since I copied the silent stinger it's no longer silent because of the weight I added so I just called it the stinger.

I wonder. If that jig is a round head, replace it with the same weight darter head type, would it be more appealing as presentation?

I'm probably missing something but haven't used spinners in years not saying they don't work cause I have caught more than my share on them. I'm really getting lazy I guess I like casting and just let it sink hoping I get bit on the fall I like to see that line twitch or feel the bite. But it has to be a slow fall which is why the wind and I don't get along much.

good job again Dick.most flies can be tied as jigs.now you can add a spinner arm and really make it noisey
