They were between three and four feet Vince.....I've seen them over five here in North Carolina....big enough to respect!
Those were some healthy looking Cottonmouths. Just guessing they look to be around 2 1/2 ft. or a little better.
It was 60 degrees this morning so you might be right Allen....this was before 8:00 and the sun rose at 7:02 yesterday......
I know here, it's actually warmer in the water than it is in the air. The snakes are probably staying wet just to keep warm.
Jen Nayfly....has a good ring to it for a great fly fishing angler!
EVERYTHING tastes like chicken!!!!! Especially frog legs!!!! LOL
THANKS IN ADVANCE JEFFREY FOR CARRYING SOME MEDICINE for the pythons down there!
Perfect food source! Taste like chicken, and put up a nice fight too. LOL
They'll be out in May and I do carry snake protection but they do more good than harm in the swamp so if they keep their distance we do just fine......
SSSSSSSSSNAKES JEFFREY! WHEN I make it down in May, if I haven't totally incapacitated my self by then, do you carry guns in the RED CHARIOT? MAYBE these will still be hibernating by then hey?!
