This box from Late December is how I made my decision for tomorrow..........light southerly winds on Tulls Bay should allow me to mark fish in the same creek and better yet fish them hard casting and with telescopics........throw in a little flier action along the way and it could be a big day..........
Thanks Mark......Sunday was bearable but give me heat and humidity any day........went out a little while yesterday and the wet, windy and cold combination makes it tough.........
great mess Jeffrey!! I might be inspired to get out and brave the cool weather if I could count on a catch llike that!
Indeed it is Dick....
Stranger things have happened Jeffrey but to feast is divine..
Dinner tonight.....this may be why our friends agreed to come over tonight......may be the eats not to socialize! LOL
Just finished cleaning this box.......eleven pounds of fresh cold water fillets.......should be a treat!
Appreciate it Jim,,,,,,,it was actually very slow early as I hit some honey holes for just a fish or two each before settling in a creek channel near Tull's Bay and the electronics blacked out......actually located the fish bottom bouncing up the channel slope.......broke out the telescopics and dumped minnow tipped jigs on them......the rest is history.......would be right back out there tomorrow for some more fun but the next coastal storm is walking into the area now and you're exposed to the high winds where these fish were caught.......maybe later this week.......
Great winter catch! Sure beats the modest gillage we had here yesterday!
Fished 1/32 ounce ball jigs tipped with minnows under floats and bottom bounced/casted 1/16th ball jigs plain...
