Cottonmouth Crossing the River……..8/7/2023

Not a great picture….the point is if you ever see a snake with its entire body on the surface, it’s venomous and most likely if in North Carolina, a water moccasin…….which is one of four poisonous snakes in our state…..

You and me both Dick….lllyou always know when it’s a cottonmouth, they just refuse to spook like all water snakes will…..
