Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

I really miss my long time fishing buddy who taught me so much about fishing and the outdoors since I was a little kid. Dad and I fished all over Mexico, Canada, Alaska and the lower 48. It's been almost a year now since Barney left us, and fishing is not the same without him.

Great photo of you and your daddy! My dad taught me how to fish and is responsible for my fishing addiction, I cherish every time he and I go fishing.

Hey thanks for the kind words everyone, dad would really like all you guys!   Lee that fish is a saltwater bass, one of the tree types we normally catch here in southern California and Mexico.  It's a Spotted Sand Bass, found mostly in harbors and bays, so many people call it a Spotted Bay Bass.  They  get up to about 3 pounds or so.  Super fun to catch on light tackle and bass lures.  Really are strong fish.
