Do you love big bluegill?

A February Gill Finally!

Went out for a couple hours during the Daytona 500 rain delay and caught eleven Gills with this 9 inch gill the best.....Water temperatures up to 54 degrees and these gills hit a Sexy Shad Mini Crank.......

I have not been able to fish since January, but what I've heard, the fish are still deep here. Hoping for a warm, windless non working weekend soon!

Abney on February 26, 2012 at 8:31pm: Wind has been up nearly the entire week Steve....Forces a lot of water level changes back and forth which can shut down the fish, but I believe the water temperature spike from the warm air temps this past week was the difference.....Remember, your North Carolina license is good over here too!!
