Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

Tipped with live crickets and slow falling to a depth of five to six feet in eight feet of water produced some toads....

NO LEO THEY ARE STUFFED VARIETY LONG JOHN'S AT CASEYS STORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! MAN ARE THEY GOOD!!! THANKS LEO AND JEFFREY, DICK FOR all the kind words again about the bugs. My little brain is running amuck with new ideas for when the new materials get here and can't wait to see what develops.

Jim G. has a great bug in the shrimp colored jigs and will do my best to pay it homage with my humble effort to match the colors.

COTTON CANDY JEFFREY!!!!!!! GOOD ONE ! GLAD you got a short term supply and now you can give em to your partners when YOu are hammering away on the gills Jeffrey and the RED CHARIOT co pilots are sitting fishless!!!!!!!

Cotton Candy! Alright. That's the name. I'll make the change for my archive's photo.

Three Cheers....I have backups now for a new favorite tie.....Tooty's "Cotton Candy" pattern has been a killer......

Lord mighty! 400?!

I got myself some good bin bargain deals from the local arts and crafts. Can't wait to dive back into fly tying again. Jen Nay Jedi's Naybee will be among my few designs. Finally  got all the materials to start my fly tying frenzy.

I'll probably spend a day making a fly tying platform as well so I can quickly set up at the shared computer station with all my materials ready to go, rather than pulling things out of the storage compartments all the time.

HEY LEO, 200 and counting! looks like ole SIR JEFFREY has a winner there.  Very easy tie for ya Leo and start cranking them out!  OLD DOUG my old fishing partner used a regular bead head once and got over 400 on one and finally I cut it off his line and night and tied him on a new one! THose 400 was over a week of fishing however, and not all in one day.

Since wife is working this weekends, I'll be spending time with the kids playing, and fly tying while they lip-hook themselves..Hm..icy pop would be a nice bait to use on them.

THANKS JEFFREY AND MASTER LEO, YUP I do llllllllllove seeing pics on here Jeffrey and can't thank you enough for giving em a try in the first place. Leo My season is about over for here. Down in the 30's at night for the next 3-4 days and supposed to warm up next week early however. Put the EVENT HORIZON 2 away for the year and will give Doc's pond one last try next week . Should have some pics then. Got lots of new patterns floating in my head and just have to make time to do em for my OFFICIAL FIELD TESTER JEFFREY. THE silents like this one is about a 2 minute tie on a good day. The menu for the fly is in my pics Leo.

LOL I will definitely mock this fly. I just got all my materials yesterday. I will try to mock this infamous fly for the winter season, as I fish with my family on stocked trouts, along with Greghopper's intriguing Booby Flies. Master Tooty is going to have his hands full trying to make this fly for the masses. Time to strap down to your seat Master Tooty, because you're not going to go fishing for a while..hehehehehe..
