Do you love big bluegill?
Finally a nice bluegill
This whole year for me hasn't been good for me. But a few days ago I found a nice spot that produced to decent size Gill's this one being the biggest. All caught on a either a #10 or #12 Green weenie no bead head.

Vince, The best answer I can give is that it may imitate a caterpillar saw some dropping into the water where I was fishing.
