Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

playing around with ep fibers I got for Christmas and made these minnows today. probably too big for a gill but hope some crappie will get fooled.

I really like these mark!  might try to make a few my self!  they look a lot like a murdoc minnow I use to tie

McScruff, EP= Enrico Puglisi Fibers they are translucent, and have an action between marabou and buck-tail.  perfect for imitating baitfish. Even large flies tied with those fibers are a dream to cast because the first back cast removes all the water from the fibers. THEY DO NOT ABSORB WATER. Use your imagination and there is no limit to the flies you can create with EP Fibers. I just bought some Congo Hair and really can't see a difference from ep. except a huge difference in price. also I have some "Polar Aire" fibers that seem a bit thinner with brighter colors. I have mixed the materials successfully and am happy with the results. (posted a link below)

YUP I GOT A WHOLE BUNCH OF THAT EP FIBER AND WILL TRY THESE AS SOON AS I GET UP THE AMBITION TO GIVE EM A WHIRL BUDDY.......
