I would love to have something like that on my kayak; but can't justify the expense.  Most of those units cost more than my yak does!

You know electronic has come a long way in the last 10 years and really in the last 5. I have a side imaging one on the front by the trolling motor the 7" and one on the center console the 9". My problem is I have them but really don't know how to us them. I don't get out much and the time I do which is only once or twice a year maybe on a good year 3 times  I just want to fish and don't make time to mess with them to try to learn them. Hopefully next year will be better.

My boss got a Hummingbird with side imaging last year and showed me pics of it in action. It really changes the way a person searches for fish.He lives on Lake Lanier with it's hundreds of boat docks, and football shaped spotted bass. He is a tournament bass fisherman when not being an engineer at work.

Had a blast this spring catching loads of nice bluegill that nobody else knew were there thanks to my Side Imaging unit I purchased the previous fall. Can't wait for spring to arrive next year and do it all over again :)
