I was so happy for him.....he's been with me many times when I have landed BFOD........he finally set the hook on this girl roaming the bluegill beds post spawn......

We have released dozens of big(6 lbs. plus)largemouth over the past few years that we have encountered and caught using small tackle while fishing for panfish.........My son in law netted many for me and I was happy to return the favor for him.......

Great gill raker's color. Very healthy looking. Imagine the ones that have a chance to fatten up over quiet season, awaiting for you to catch them.

Thanks.....I get more excited over biggggggg panfish but an occasional largemouth like this is accrptable behavior.....LOL
