I'm fishing in the location that we caught these fish last season......first time in there this year.......might get a little crazy!

Thanks Tooty....looks more like a painting with all the color splashed in.....but it's a spawning male Coppernose dressed to kill.......Off the Wall in a favorite creek.....Hopefully this fish will add an inch and I'll see him again this year...........Dan and I just blew the fish counter away on this June day and 25% of the gills were over 10"......I've been catching big gills in this location for more than ten years in a row now......The best place in the world to use a telescopic pole for big gills......crazy good time....

Thanks guys....my nephew Dan has become an accomplished and competitive angler....We have enjoyed our traditional family fishing adventure for several years and fish like this keep the family eager to visit Northeast North Carolina every summer......Dates are being finalized for 2013 and although Dan is getting a little older, he is still planning to join us this season and it should be a great time!
