Best Bluegill Fishing To Date in 2016........5/10/2016
Well over a hundred gills caught this afternoon on a fertile coastal flat.......about a two acre plot of three to four feet of water just teaming with active gills........71 degrees and a slight flood tide.........bait moving and fish going nuts.....

The more things change the more they remain the same........May the 10th was a breakout day for bluegill fishing last year with water temps at 71........full moon tonight and the surface temp is within a degree or two of 71.........Last Sunday was a breakout trip for 2017 but that was immediately followed by a series of cold fronts and a fallout of 13 degrees on water temps.........we are now rebounding..........
